This course covers the disclosure requirements and the information necessary to properly prepare the form. In addition, we will address the tax treatment of a gift with a life estate interest and the related tax consequences for the person creating the life estate as they may unknowingly exceed their annual gift tax exemption.

This course addresses the preparation of IRS Form 706, the U.S. Federal Estate Tax Return.
